Ajax Image Gallery for Freeflux
Ok, I`ve just noticed that someone is starting to surf around the web to have a look to my ajax image gallery.. but there`s lack in documentation.. so I worked a bit on it and here you go.. this is a brief gallery description with the sourcecode (css excluded at the moment)..
Of course everything could be improved here.. anyway.. I wanted to handle different indipendent galleries and for this reason I`m using javascript prototypes to handle a each gallery as a single indipendent object.. in this way you can have more than one gallery in the same page just adding this piece of html.
The numbers used to complete the id labels are for the proposal I have just mentioned, they must be different for each gallery. I tried also to do a full dinamic gallery..(ths html code shouldn`t be there.. but ok.. some cross browsing issue made me a bit sick :-) )
..Ok.. not so easy to comment, but if you need.. contact me!
Just one thing.. maybe someone could think.. ok and how ajax is used here?
Ajax has been used to load the xml desciption of a Flux cms folder (where I stored the images for a specific gallery) this xml is given by a trick thanks to chregu`s help, that enable the cms to make public the xml code.. I suggest to read the forum topic..

I am Deepak..I am working on MCMS 2002(Microsoft content management system) for building websites...
I had used an Microsoft Content Management Server "Thumbnail Images Placeholder control"(which is designed for MCMS) to display Image on webpage in form thumbnail..please have a look at that control which i got from...(http://www.codeproject.com/aspnet/thumbnailimagesph_c.asp)
This control will take the image from Image gallery(Image gallery is separate repository in MCMS) and will display all images in thumbnail format....When i click on any image ,it will open in new window displaying that particular image.That is fine for me....
Now actually i was looking for something like image viewer...When any image is opened in new window,i need to navigate(see) other images without closing that window like with "next" and "previous" button....So i am looking for a such custom page..
Once i saw ur Ajax Image Gallery for Freeflux ....I saw the same functionality in ur control which i was looking for.....
So could u help me out to developing same custom page as ur Ajax Image Gallery....only thing is source of image will in image gallery(in webserver not client system).....
I hope u understand what i am trying to say....plz reply me back with some solution...

I think that u could use this code as it is without the ajax calls, but somehow u need to know the number of the images contained into the gallery (I mean more o less the number of files into a specific server folder).. I'll try as soon as I have time to check more into the details.. Now I am in holiday and a big journey is waiting for me :-)

Their site is at http://levyo.com demo at http://gettingzone.com .They build Ajax application on PHP, Mysql. Their gallery runs so fast, especially when I login, register, submit, rate, write comment, upload, process, Tab feature... It's great.
How can they do especially "unlimited tab feature", you can add new category in Admin CP, it generates new Tab automatically?

The HTML should be reworked. You have divs and other block-level elements contained within a span. A span by definition cannot contain any block-level element. If you're trying to take advantage of the inlining of a span, it would be more appropriate to use a div and 'display: inline;' in your CSS or simply use floats.

<span id="testn"> as an on the fly container. MaybeI should use the span to visualize the buttons.
